One of our favorite photogs of all time snapped this swell shot of a computer desk top which is supposedly very heavy. Now, as it turns out, we actually have no reason whatsoever to believe that the sign writer is lying to us, so please accept our apologies for our earlier use of the word "supposedly." We certainly didn't mean to cast aspersions on the unknown scribe.

It's a music town. No matter that the eponymous festival was actually held way the heck over in Bethel. Not here. Bethel is not a music town. Woodstock is. Reader and music lover Staci S. sent in this pic from (look at the fine print) a shop called Sorella, in Woodstock, whose return policy appears to be for store credit only, which raises an interesting question. Do they have any other free stuff? In case the music is no good?

Our other car is a Mini Cooper. That's what I was driving when I saw this screen door. We need a screen door.

I suppose I coulda strapped it to the roof or set it up in the back seat. Or maybe I could go back for it today with the truck. But I don't think I will.

We got to this box just in the nick o' time. Some woman came and rapidly took nearly everything, it was ridiculous, a veritable feeding frenzy of free. In fact, you know what, let's just coin a term right here on the spot, call it a "freeding frenzy" and call it a day. Happy free season!
